What is laser facial thread vein removal?
Why do thread veins appear?
There are many reasons for thread veins to appear such as over exposure to the sun, changes in weather, alcohol consumption, hormonal changes like pregnancy, sudden changes in pressure which can be caused by severe vomiting or sneezing. People can also get them genetically. Sufferers of Rosacea often find they suffer from facial thread veins as the skin is red and flushed.
How does laser treatment work?
Our laser treatment is a safe and effective way to remove thread veins. The light from the laser is targeted at the veins causing them to heat up. The heat will cause the vein to break down which appear as small bruising on the skin’s surface. The damaged vein after a few treatments will dissolve and the body’s natural immune system will remove it.
How many sessions will be required?
We recommend 6 sessions but it does depend on the size and number of thread veins you have. This will be determined at the consultation where a patch test will take place as well. We will create an individual treatment plan for you. All our prices are based on a 6 session plan.

How To Book
What to expect when booking a treatment.
You will need to book an appointment with us which we will confirm with you. Once we have booked an appointment we will need to carry out a Patch test during your initial consultation phase. This will need to be completed 48 hours before any treatment can take place.
We recommend a course of 6 treatments to allow for the complete breakdown and removal of the thread veins (dependent on amount of thread veins). For rosacea and skin redness this will be determined at the initial consultation.
Patch Test
You must have a patch test 48 hours before the first treatment.
Consultation
You must have a consultation before any treatment can take place to see if you are suitable.
Treatments & Aftercare
We will tell you what to expect and what you will need to do prior to any treatment. We will also check up with you as part of our aftercare.
